Daniel Oh dedicated his life to service, embodying honor, courage, and selflessness through military and law enforcement careers. He began as a Military Police officer in the U.S. Army Reserve, serving over a decade and rising to Staff Sergeant. His deployments to Iraq in 2008 and Afghanistan in 2012 involved combat operations, earning him numerous accolades, including the Bronze Star Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, and Combat Action Badge, recognizing his bravery and leadership.

Following his military service, Daniel joined the NYPD, excelling as a Police Officer in the 71st Precinct and later as a Neighborhood Coordination Officer (NCO), fostering community trust. His ambition led him to the elite Emergency Service Unit (ESU), where his teamwork and selflessness proved invaluable in high-stakes situations.

Throughout his NYPD career, Daniel earned multiple awards, including four Meritorious Police Duty and nine Excellent Police Duty recognitions. His unwavering dedication, from battlefields abroad to safeguarding New York City streets, exemplifies the profound impact of a life committed to protecting and serving others.
